meet kelly G. Williams

Kelly G. Williams, an attorney, entrepreneur and mother, has launched Kelly’s Green, a medical marijuana company dedicated to providing expertly cultivated and manufactured medicinal products and patient-centered dispensary services to the people of Mississippi.

I’m excited today to introduce you to Kelly’s Green. We are a patient-centered service medical marijuana company. We’re the only company that’s been fiercely fighting for Mississippi patients from the very beginning. I made the first financial contribution to Initiative 65, my family and I gathered signatures for a year, and I attended campaign meetings. Kelly’s Green is driven by the same heart and soul, kindness and compassion, humanity and commitment to Mississippians that drove Initiative 65. That service to Mississippians continues with Kelly’s Green.

As a woman with business and legal experience, I have strong personal ties to both the state of Mississippi and the patients and caregivers who will benefit from medicinal cannabis. I’ve done legal work with thousands of families and children across the state, and this work has taught me that every human being has inherent worth. When my father died from Alzheimer’s disease in 2018, I found myself wishing he had more options for treatment and pain relief, and when my niece was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma, my eyes were opened to the intensity and senselessness of her pain and suffering. I knew I had to do something to help my niece and other patients like her obtain the pain relief they deserve.

Brittany, a native of Hattiesburg, ventured to California in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina, serving as an Americorps volunteer in rural health clinics. Her fascination with California’s medical cultivation movement led her to operate successful cannabis farms in Northern California’s “Emerald Triangle” alongside her husband.

With the passage of CA Prop 64 in 2016, Brittany transitioned to Sonoma County, partnering with a top-tier cannabis company, CannaCraft. Over the next decade, she held executive roles in various companies and brands, including Marley Naturals Cannabis CA. Brittany is recognized for her contributions to the industry and honored as one of the “Most Important Women in Weed” by the Green Market Report in 2020.

Outside her career, Brittany serves on the boards of organizations like the Sonoma County Growers Alliance, embracing her passions for community engagement and positive change. Returning to her home state, Brittany is excited to make a mark in Mississippi’s burgeoning cannabis market with Kelly’s Green, fostering sustainable growth and culture. She enjoys deep-sea fishing, traveling, cooking, supporting the New Orleans Saints, and gardening.

John is a native of St. Louis, Missouri, who traveled to California in 2001 to run a small organic food farm along the Russian River in Mendocino County. With the passage of California’s Prop 215 (allowing medical cannabis), he quickly became interested in cannabis farming practices and made a name for himself by developing his own style of outdoor full-sun cannabis farming.

Over the next 12 years, John operated multiple farms in Mendocino County, earning recognition with features in publications like The CannaBible and marketing campaigns for industry leader CannaCraft. He went on to develop farm infrastructure in Sonoma County while simultaneously serving as Director of Community and Grower Relationships at AllGood Farms where he oversaw the development of outdoor cultivation properties and an 11,500 SF extraction and testing facility.

He has developed breakthrough cultivation techniques to ensure the efficiency and scalability of large commercial farming endeavors and continues to perfect his indoor growing techniques while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards. John has enjoyed cultivating personal relationships in his wife’s home state of Mississippi and is passionate about the outdoor recreation in the state, as well as the warmth of its people. John is excited to join a community whose values are echoed by his own and hopes to contribute to Mississippi’s responsible cannabis program with a focus on honesty, values, and quality.
